The Royal Society-Wolfson Foundation Laboratory Refurbishment Scheme

Grants of up to £250,000 are available for the renovation and modernisation of university research laboratories. The subject area supported is advised for each round.

Purpose of grant for 2000
The scheme will fund the renovation and modernisation of research laboratories which are to be used for research in informatics and computational modelling in the fields of biology, chemistry and medical science.

A total of £2.5 million is available for award in 2000. It is envisaged that awards will normally be for a maximum of £250,000. The refurbishment can include provision of infrastructure equipment. In addition up to 25% of the total award can be devoted to the purchase of relevant scientific equipment.



Before proceeding you are strongly advised to read the Terms and Conditions of the scheme carefully.
Grants are only available for scientists with substantive posts in universities in the UK working in informatics and computational modelling in the fields of biology, chemistry and medical science
