Reception and catering rooms ![]() Ground floor The City of London Rooms Frequently used for receptions and luncheons, The City of London Rooms (shown above) are two interconnecting rooms, adjacent to The Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall. Bright rooms, featuring an Adam marble fireplace and elegant chandeliers, they have direct access through French windows on to the balustraded terrace overlooking The Mall and St Jamess Park. Suitable for meetings of up to 60 people theatre style.
![]() The Dining Room Located on the lower ground floor, the Dining Room (shown above) has large, high windows which attract a great deal of natural and reflected light. It is an elegant, bright room which provides the perfect setting for luncheons or private dining for up to 130 guests. The provision of a sound system offers the flexibility to hold a discussion meeting during a meal, or to use the room as an overflow for The Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall. The dining facility is only available in conjunction with a science-related event.
