Lecture theatres![]() Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall The Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall (shown above) has been carefully restyled to provide a modern facility which elegantly reflects the buildings heritage and location. Accommodating up to 300 delegates in unfixed, theatre style seating, the hall offers full flexibility for meetings, lectures or exhibitions. The Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall houses its own state-of-the-art projection room which is equipped with the latest presentation technology. A touch screen panel enables the speaker at the lectern to communicate with the on-site technician operating the audio-visual equipment in the projection room. A specially designed, fitted screen facilitates the use of double projection as well as video projection. The acoustics in The Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall are excellent and the room has been fitted with a speech/sound reinforcement system, rather than a conventional public address system. An induction loop, to aid the hard of hearing, is also available. The provision of light in the Hall has been carefully considered. The flexibility of the system allows lighting levels to be adjusted quickly and easily to suit the atmosphere of the event. Electronically-controlled blinds are fitted to the windows and are centrally controlled to exclude natural light when using projection facilities. A lighting track is fitted to accommodate spot lights around the room; a particularly useful feature for exhibitions. Ground floor Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall
