Global symbols

Traditionally Nature is conceived as a contemporaneous presence of two aspects, the Macrocosm and the , which are respectively defined as "that which is high" and "that which is low". One must understand that this means that living beings, in their consciousness, can perceive the existence of such worlds. However, these are perceptions that do not depend only and exclusively on sensorial experiences or intellectual abstractions.

Traditionally our consciousness is aware of the axiom that "that which is high is like that which is low". However, the two above-named aspects of Nature are separated and have two distinct features.

Therefore one must understand that it is only possible to confront the consciousness of Nature and its relationships with Microcosm and Macrocosm by means of symbols.

Traditionally Nature, in it's globality, operates in these two worlds by means of the four elements. These represent the point of passage between the two worlds and are Earth, Water, Air and Fire.

These are, as we have already mentioned, particular ways of being, profoundly tied up with the Becoming.
