Air

The Element Air, as suggested by the Symbol, represents the flow of the Becoming that rests in the Microcosm of them who could generate it as Fire.

As the flow pauses, also the perception of the Becoming stops. Therefore, the mode of being associated to Air represents the mode of being associated to the non-operating thought. This move much more the attention to the conscience of the present time and tends to the prevalence of an individual Microcosm locked in self-thoughs.

The uncontrolled prevalence of a too individual Microcosm implies a real difficulty in the perception of our operating responsibilities in connection with the Macrocosm, in that an individual Microcosm tends "to see" only himself. So, it is significant the Traditional admonishment to overcome any profane individuality.

The principles of generation of Metals, inside the Microcosm, are included In the elements Air and Earth, lived profanely. Nevertheless, Air is not a dynamic Element : it does not flow and then cannot generate real transformations of the Becoming.
