What meaning could Life have without the inner values ? Without them no-one could give a real consistence to his own existence. And this counts for all human beings. For this reason we must always keep present in our conscience tha the inner avalues exist for everybody, but that they are not necessarily the same for everybody. It follows that, for all of us, the privilege of living should be considered the supreme natural Law. We should conform ourselves to our inner values with a spirit of Sacrality, doing the best we can, according our own capabilities. Such a privilege entails some Rights but, above all, some Duties towards Life. The true value of building one's own interior Temple is always proportioned to the efforts of the the man that builds it. We should consider carefully that everything, that has a value to our eyes, cannot be communicated to others but in an extremely imperfect and inadequate form. Therefore, we often miss, for lack of Tolerance, the entity of efforts other beings make along the difficult path of Life. |
