Why do we have inside such as strong aspiration to know?

Such a question may seem devoid of common sense, just because it does not have simple and exhaustive answers.

However, we must realize how powerful the "interior motor" which pushes us along the journey of knowledge is, and how the aspiration to know is closely related to the push towards Life.

If it is difficult to give an answer to the first question, it is even more difficult to understand the reason why we feel the need to know ourselves.

A full self-consciousness might give us the essential reason of our desire to know.
