What is the mechanism that induces man to aspire to "something" superior, during the course of his life? If we observe carefully, it must be a reason for wonder the fact that, apart from the circumstances that often reduce our aspirations to daydreams, there is a component that acts on man independently of the object of his aspirations. Such component reveals the superior nature, "divine or transcendent" whatever you wish to call it, inherent in Life. The awareness that we should have of such common nature, should make us very tolerant towards human aspirations, especially those of the others. While the superior nature is common to everyone, the object of our aspirations is often manifested in a very imperfect way, exactly because of our human nature. |
