135th Grand Commandery Knights Templar Conclave

It is with pleasure that Sir Knight John R. Wentworth Right Eminent Grand Commander and Ivanhoe
Commandery No. 31 of St. Peter extend this invitation to you and your Lady to attend the 135th Grand
Conclave. The conclave will be held at the Best Western Motel, Mankato, MN.

our special room
rate of $70.00 tax included per night. Pool side rooms $70.00 tax included per
night.
All rooms have a
coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and hair dryers.
All room
reservations must be made by May. 22, 2000. After this date you will be charged the
regular rate.
All Sir Knights
are encouraged and requested to attend. Social and entertaining activities have
been arranged for the Ladies, Sir Knights and family members.
All activities
and events are open to all Sir Knights. Thursday, all early arrivals are
invited to attend a Dutch Treat Evening Buffet. There will be two meetings, the
Grand Commandery Officers and Past Grand Commanders. Starting at Four O’clock
there will be a Knight Crusaders of the Cross meeting and degree for all who
are not a Knight Crusader of the Cross, registration forms will be on the main
registration table. Starting at Seven Thirty PM, there will be a Past
Commanders Association meeting, and all Past Commanders are encouraged to
attend.
All Commanderies
are requested to bring their Beauceant. A ribbon will be given to all
Commanderies that attend and bring their Beauceant.
Friday
activities will include the formal opening of the Grand Commandery by the Sir
Knights of Ivanhoe
Commandery No. 3
1,the business session will follow. Full uniform requested for Minnesota Sir
Knights.
Visiting Sir
Knight’s, Commandery coat plus Chapeau requested.
Friday afternoon
activities have been planned, and should be of interest to everyone.
After the steak fly
there will be TWO (side degrees) put on. Lotus Club, by Zion Commandery No. 2
and The
Udder Degree by
Minneapolis Mounted Commandery No. 23. These are followed by social and
friendship time
for everyone.
Saturday
activities will start with a Memorial Service, open to All, then finish the
rest of the business of the
Grand
Commandery. Election of Grand Commandery Officers and the installation of these
Officers.
Grand Banquet
Saturday evening, followed by Social time for everyone.
In the
hospitality room there will be a silent auction on lots of items. All proceeds
will go to the Grand Commandery charity programs. When you pre-register you
will be given a number to use for bidding at the silent auction.
