Secretary-General, People's Action Party, 1957;
Elected P.A.P. Assemblyman, 1955;
Representative of Tanjong Pagar Constituency, 1955 - present;
Won General Elections, formed government and became Prime Minister; 1959; Continued to win General Elections in 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1991;
Appointed as one of 15 representatives from Singapore to the Parliament of Malaysia; 1963 - 1965;
Senior Minister 1990 - present
