The Tolerance towards the other people is an inward bent of the Man. Being so and having to reflect the will of the individuals, it always presents a character of subjectivity and of contingency. The Tolerance also reflects the inward qualification of the man. A really free man is the one who recognizes to the other people the same freedom that invokes for himself. The Tolerance implicates a deep respect for the desire of manifestation of the other living beings. To be tolerant does not involves in any way a limitation to the possibility to manifest and to propose his own points of views, to which always correspond some inward values. Nevertheless the Tolerance implicates the overcoming of the antagonisms in the manifestations of the points of views of the men. The "absolute" terms of judgement - like truth and falseness - should never be a reason of hindrance for the comprehension of the deep causes which are the basis of the manifestations. |
