The Square Like all Symbols, the Square also proposes a way of being. While the meaning of the Square can be examined from many points of view in relation with various events, the way of being, associated with the Square, remains substantially the same. The Square appears to us as a means of observation and measurement of a perceived reality. It is represented by two arms at right angles, which imply two point of view or references, both completely indipendant. In such a way it is possible to have an impartial measuration without one or other of the two points of view predominating. It seems clear, however, that the Square proposes the Duty to be impartial and well-balanced in our observations. In addition to this the Square, above all, makes us notice the way of being which accompanies each impartial observer, both before and after the observations and measurements. |
