Freedom of research The reasons which inspire man towards the research are not easily identifiable. Beyond the simple curiosities, there are two components which are part of the deep nature of everyone of us; to take adequate conscience of them would be very important. While researching, the exact aims which one desires to achieve are not always known. In general we are leaded by an inexplicable sense of hope to find something that can give use a better inward clearness. If we well observe, we can discover in our inwardness a strenght which has been with us till our infancy, which make us aim at a "promised land" about which we have only some confused intuitions. Such a strenght, even in a different measure, is present in everyone. Without it to adequately explain the evolution would not be possible. Many interpretations of the nature of such a strenght are possible, but to take conscience of it seems to be more meaningful than to look for any definition. The fact that every condition, of every kind, in the freedom to research for every single man is an action extremely serious, should be evident to all of us. The media are often at the origin of such conditions, and in this quality they must be the subject of great attention by our side. |
