Certainties

If we observe carefully, there are two kinds of certainties in us which, although they have the same name, are deeply different one from the other.

The first kind we get from a knowledge of a deterministic and well definite nature, which is usually attained during some experiences. Such certainty refers to something easily identifiable and does not play a particularly relevant role in our ways of being.

The other kind of certainty, instead, is of esoteric nature and belongs to our interiority: suddenly it reveals itself and is inside us, without explanations. It does not depend on our wishes. We recognize it immediately and from that moment on it lives in us. It represents a force.

However, man is particularly clever at fooling himself. He often flatters himself that he can turn into a certainty something which represents instead just a projection of a non esoteric wish.
