The Jailor

The Tradition has always proposed to the attention of men an essential starting point for meditation: man is the jailor of himself.

This means that man builds a cage around himself which confines him, made of rigid forms and points of view that prevent him from moving freely in the universe of Life which is, on the contrary, open to everyone without any preclusions.

Everybody has the faculty to escape from his own imprisonment. However, we must understand clearly that only inside ourselves, in our interiority, we can find the keys to our cell.
